A busy & cold Saturday
Today was a fun, but cold day for our crew. Jonathan, Caleb and I walked in the Gladstone Parade with his Preschool. I pulled Jonathan in a wagon we decorated, while Caleb skipped along the side trying to stay warm. We were pretty red when we got to the car after...
Jonathan and Caleb are really becoming best friends. It's really cute to see how close they have become since August. I always thought Joshua and Caleb would be closer since they are only 18 months apart, but it looks like I was wrong (at least at this age now)....

While we were at the parade, Grandma Sue took Joshua and Ashlyn to their school Walk-a-thon (thanks again to those who sponsored them :) They walked 2 1/2 miles and were also a little cold. We met up with them after the Walk-a-thon and joined them at the FCA carnival. It was still chilly, but fun.
John had to miss the fun while he went to Urgent Care. It seems he has the flu (the bad one) and now I am on some expensive Flu prescription medicine to help the symptoms from getting as worse as him. He has told the kids goodbye in case he dies - he really feels that horrible. I am not that bad yet, but very nervous to see what is to come. He said it is the worse throat pain he has ever experienced. Hopefully this medicine will help me get it over it quicker and easier....and we are praying the kids don't get it too. We have quarantined John to our bedroom for now. We'll keep ya posted...

Love the Trashguy, go blog. How cute!!
John is still the only bad one :) The kids have no symptoms and feel great. I am taking the Tamiflu and it is either working wonderfully, or I still don't have it. It was $60 for 10 pills so I am hoping it is really working! We are planning on doing school tomorrow since the kids are good - John is still unlikely to work or go to school. He says he has the extreme case and can barely talk his throat is so sore. We'll keep ya posted when I see ya tomorrow.
