Being the only girl...

For those of you who can't see the writing on these 2 signs - they say "No Boys Allowed". These signs have found their way all over our house, but especially in Ashlyn's room. None of the boys can read yet, but they all know what the signs say. Caleb walks right up to them and says "Look Wawa, lets go in. haha" She might be asking for a lock soon for her bedroom door I think. As funny as it is for me to all watch afar, I can remember similar signs when I was her age and I had only sisters. She is very fortunate to have her own room, unlike her mother at her age. Did you all have territorial issues at age 8 too? Or were you like the boys and just love to touch everything you were not supposed to touch!

I was the oldest so I got to have my own room but my sisters never stayed out of it. I begged my Mom and Dad for a lock but they said it was their room and they were only letting me borrow it and they don't want a lock on the door. I had a huge KEEP OUT sign on the door. My girls are getting ready to share a room soon, I am not sure how that's going to go, especially if the new baby is a boy. :)
Hey!! I know I was the messy sister who didn't like to move our furniture around every week and we had our many disagreements but you know I still love you!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Hahahaha, every phone conversation I had with DeAnna:
ring ring
D:Hello?
A: Hi DeAnna,it's Anna.
D: Hi Anna.
A: What are you doing?
D: Cleaning, rearranging furniture.
A: Why?
D: I'm bored (or stressed, or upset)
EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND!!

Ha! Yep, Anna is right! And I have gotten a little better since my 3rd child here. John used to come home and just shake his head each week...I think my energy level just went down a little more when we had Caleb. Of course, the kids LOVE to help when I have the energy and usually ask for a "new" room once a month :)
You are my hero! My furniture is not only in the same place year round but I lay it out the same way in every house!!! I have no creative talent in the decorating, furniture arranging, painting department!
