Adoption Fundraiser Garage Sale

My best friend Lisa and her husband Nate have adopting two little boys the past five years and she is excited to begin the process for her last, hopefully a little girl. With adoption comes many, many misc fees and charges throughout the journey. In order to help with some of the initial costs and application/home study fees, we are going to throw 2 huge garage sales. The first one will be held this Friday and Saturday at my in-laws house in Liberty. The second one will be held in early fall at Lisa's mom's house in Smithville. We have a huge range of baby clothes, items, toys, and many children toys and clothes. We have some adult clothes and decor items as well. If you are interested in attending our sales, please email me for the addresses. We have been fortunate to have about 5 or 6 families donate items for both sales. We are excited to see what kind of help these sales will bring. Please pray for the Knorr family as they begin this journey and pray for the finances needed to begin. We are so excited to see God work in this family!

Merry Christmas from our crew to yours! We are thankful for 2024 and all that it brought to our family. God has been gracious and merciful to us as we hope to glorify Him with our lives and figure out our next season of life. We had more ups than downs this year and are excited to see what unfolds in 2025. John and Deanna celebrated 26 years of marriage this year and were able to celebrate with an anniversary trip through four National Parks in CA and NV. It was an amazing trip and of course urges us to travel more this coming year while we are healthy enough to hike and have more time on our hands in this short season. The peer pressure of the internet

So I have been invited about 5 times to join Facebook this past year and it seems lately most of my adult friends are joining. I have been afraid to join, not because of the crazy psychos out there, but because I know the time I would lose once I joined. I keep going back and forth and am driving John crazy using his account all the time to email friends I haven't talked to for awhile. He keeps telling me to get my own account. He joined last year because his youth Sunday School Class was all on there and it was better for them to discuss and email through Facebook . He is just now using it to re-connect with other people or talk back and forth with KC friends here (he no longer teaches the youth at church). When my friend Sara joined she said her inbox was full of friend requests and how crazy it was to get requests from people she never really talked to back in high school. Is it rude to just decline those people or is the "cool" thing to just have a bunch of friend...
