Oooh, Hot!

So both older boys have become pretty good at using our toaster oven in the morning to make their frozen waffles (I know they are pretty young, but they are both really into cooking!). Anyway, they put them in, turn it on, and then use a fork to slide them out when they are done. Today for an afternoon snack, they wanted a waffle. So I made them (it had been a while since I actually have made one) and Joshua cracked me up. I went to pull them out with my bare fingers of course and he yelled, "Mom, you better not do that or you'll look like Darth Vader!" What a smart kid! (for those of you who are not Star Wars fans, Anakin Skywalker had a fake arm before he became Darth Vader after being burned up. Joshua remembered that and knew my hand would burn, and I guess need to be replaced - yes, we are watching way too many movies these days!)
