Just in case anyone needs a subtle hint each year, I created a fun frame collage for our bedroom I saw on Pinterest.  I used IKEA frames, scrapbook paper, and shiny pennies for the numbers.  Joshua did most of the work.  I traced the scrapbook paper and he cut them out.  He also glued the pennies on the paper.  It turned out great!

Our really good friend (more like adoptive son) shares a birthday with Joshua.  So we took the family out to the Cheesecake Factory for their Birthday celebration.  Darwin works with us at the Maids and is John's workout partner.  He is 24 now!  Our family has really enjoyed getting to know him this past year and look forward to many more with him! Happy Birthday Darwin and Joshua!

 Hard to believe this bundle of baby joy is 10!  Yes, how did that happen!  He is growing into such a smart, creative, young man.  Happy Tenth Birthday JP!

My best friend Lisa finally announced the arrival of a future little girl (probably Nov) to their family.  The birth mother is due in Nov, but the date is unknown.  Lisa has always wanted a little girl and so excited the birth mother picked them.  We are working on planning a shower, painting her nursery and getting things together for her arrival.  Congratulations Knorrs!

One of my favorite Colorado stores have moved into the Kansas City area and I couldn't be happier!  One just opened a few blocks from me.  I decided to go to the Grand Opening this morning.  It was crazy!  They had music blaring outside and the parking lot was full. The lines inside reminded me of Black Friday and people were everywhere.  I was able to get a few fun things for my best friends baby due in Nov.  I can't wait to just stop in while the kids are in school.

Grandma Sue was invited to a Mary Kay makeup makeover party tonight and I asked her to have Ashlyn tag along. Because Ashlyn is still a little shy, she wanted me to come to. It ended up being a fun party! Ashlyn is going to try wearing a little makeup when she turns 13 and this was a great way to teach her a few things. I learned a lot to and realize I don't really wear much makeup at all usually. Here are a couple pictures of us after we were dolled up..

We tend to eat it at least 3 days a week.  Tonight was homemade Chicken Noodle soup with Red Lobster biscuits.  It was a huge hit!
