Our first "winter" day

We were so excited today to see that our rain/ice mixture we were all planning for today turned out to be a light snowfall! The kids and I planned a fun day at home all day - in pajamas of course! John usually works late on Thursdays so we had already had some of these ideas in mind originally, but changed it a little to kick off our Holiday winter season!

Our Gameplan:
1. Breakfast
2. Pick up the house
3. Make daddy's favorite treat - almond bark pretzels with sprinkles
4. School time
5. Lunch
6. Prepare some treat bags for Awanas on Sunday
7. More school time
8. Make Swirled chocolate chip cookies (red and green)
9. Dinner
10. Finish up school time
11. Wrap some birthday presents for Grandma Peggy's party on Sunday
12. Maybe a short movie with hot chocolate right before Daddy comes home

So that is our funfilled plan for the day, with some feeding breaks, diaper changes, laundry, and breathing treatments (yes, Jonathan is weezing again!) as needed. I know this couple inches of snow doesn't compare to what you have all seen in Colorado or the horrible storm you got in Washington (sorry Phil again), but we sure are excited!!!

wow, you all got more than we did in liberty! we are still in our pj's too!!! fun days! we have been coloring, playing princess, of course in between laundry and nursing, like you. No breathing treatments thank goodness! had our appt yesterday and j is in the 75% for weight and 50% for lenth...go big boy! love you!

Yeah, we got a good 4-5 inches yesterday and we all had fun playing in it. Sounds like you had a fun, busy day. I am sorry Jonathan is sick still. Aaron can't kick his illness either and I just feel so bad for them. I hope he feels better soon.

Merry Christmas from our crew to yours! We are thankful for 2024 and all that it brought to our family. God has been gracious and merciful to us as we hope to glorify Him with our lives and figure out our next season of life. John and Deanna celebrated 26 years of marriage this year and were able to celebrate with an anniversary trip through four National Parks in CA and NV. The peer pressure of the internet

So I have been invited about 5 times to join Facebook this past year and it seems lately most of my adult friends are joining. I have been afraid to join, not because of the crazy psychos out there, but because I know the time I would lose once I joined. I keep going back and forth and am driving John crazy using his account all the time to email friends I haven't talked to for awhile. He keeps telling me to get my own account. He joined last year because his youth Sunday School Class was all on there and it was better for them to discuss and email through Facebook . He is just now using it to re-connect with other people or talk back and forth with KC friends here (he no longer teaches the youth at church). When my friend Sara joined she said her inbox was full of friend requests and how crazy it was to get requests from people she never really talked to back in high school. Is it rude to just decline those people or is the "cool" thing to just have a bunch of friend...
