March Quality Star Award

Caleb was awarded Student of the Month for March for Mr. Richards class. Line Creek gives that student the Quality Student Award based on a character trait that was exemplified that month. March was for Patience. We are very proud of Caleb for this honor. In recognition of the award, each winner can invite one guest to a Quality Star Lunch at the school. There are a couple tables set up in the hall and the student and their guest eat together at the nicely decorated table. Caleb invited Jonathan and I. There are only 9 children selected each class, each year, and we are very proud of Caleb and how well he is doing at Line Creek. I got to visit with Mr. Richards before the lunch and he had a great report. He is excited Caleb will return there for first grade and is already talking with the first grade teacher he recommended we get next year about Caleb. Here are a couple pictures from the lunch.

The hot lunch at the school is actually pretty good. Jonathan loved ordering the strawberry milk and ate most of the mac and cheese and mini cinnamon roll. I got the fruit! Caleb eats the whole thing and really takes after Ashlyn about following all the rules. Today is Caleb's friend party so I am excited to get to know the boys he is always talking about at school. They are all so friendly to me and always come talk to me when I am there for lunch or classroom activities. Posts of the party hopefully tonight...
